Val Thorens is a purpose built ski destination in the French Alps. One of the most popular skiing venues. There are 319 pistes. 200 Lifts in the resort which makes it part of the worlds largest ski resort - The three valleys (les trois valées). It is high at an altitude of 2,300 m. Located in the commune of Saint-Martin-de-Belleville in the Savoie department. The Val Thorens valley is made up of three separate villages: Les Menuires, Val Thorens and Saint Martin de Belleville.
So many personal happy memories for the artist who has been visiting this mountain paradise since the 1980's.
