This artwork created for the Friends of Hathersage Station is now on permanent display on the Sheffield Manchester railway line on both platforms at Hathersage Station.
There are illustrated views of the Pepper Pot, Toads Mouth, Higgar Tor, Carls Wark, The George Hotel, Colemans Deli and Maazi’s curry house, Stanage Edge. The David Mellor Cutlery factory the Round House, Memories of the Needle industry, millstones and a pack horse and The cheese press.
There are runners, walkers, climbers, photographers and mountain bikers, a curlew and a giant central panorama of the village from the other side of the valley.
