The fall and rise of the Lakeland sun is the companion piece to the Rise and Fall of the Lakeland Sun, the original Lake District design. It offers a sunset to the original sunrise.
This abstracted work, is a contemporary pattern design, created from a love, and experiences, of the widely varied Lake District landscapes.
The flowing shapes of the work contrast with the broken choices of colours, over the ranges of mountain and hill tops, as the cycles of the sun rise and set. The highly stylised pattern includes trees, leaves and rock, perfectly reflected below, more hills and lakes, complete a very personal and brightly coloured view of this much loved National Park.
