An emotional one - this piece…
I set out to create something very Peak District - a very warm feel with affectionate memories while trying out a few new things and trying to find a strong representation of a few of my favourite park scene elements.
I strove to create the scene in my head with these things I love and some of my fondest memories so it’s a bit of a seasonal mash up but very much from the heart… I might even have been humming a few of my favourite things from the Sound of Music (apologies).
I’m not sure yet what people will think, as I have only just finished it - but here it is anyway. Love and kindness - Si x

Featuring Edale - Edale Church, the start of the Pennine Way, a neighbouring house and fields looking toward Grindsbrook Booth and Ringing Roger.
Brown Hares (Lepus europaeus), Boxing Hares, Golden Plovers (Pluvialis apricaria) a very rare sight on the moorlands, and a Curlew,
