This aerial view of the gritstone cliffs of Curbar Edge in the Peak District was taken from early Drone photography of the area undertaken by Si in 2012. The drawing shows climbers, a Buzzard and a Red Deer as part of this dramatic stage of some of the more serious climbing routes in the area.
This colourful piece, with its ‘naive’ style, is representative of the artists’ optimistic outlook and his love for this area of the world.
