A Hay Meadow and eternal loving rings from the Peak District…
A labour of much love. The artist created this work for his wedding in Hathersage in the Peak District National Park. Hundreds of rings of Hay Meadow imagery revolve around the artists' four eternal rings of Love, Kindness, Empathy and Strength.
This work is incredibly detailed and lovingly crafted from literally thousands of hay meadow flowers. The process involved much work painstakingly piecing together the rings manually and dropping the work into the ghosted white silhouette of an oak tree. It's all in this image, the artists love and a lifetime of love for the natural world and especially the hay meadow.
